David B. Wheeler, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Wheeler graduated from the University of Montana with a B.A. in Zoological Sciences in 1989 before heading to the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship. He then went on to earn an M.D. as well as a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, CA. In Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Wheeler received his Neurology training at Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals. After residency, he pursued a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG and Epilepsy) at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
In addition to general neurological treatment and procedures, Dr. Wheeler has a special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. He is excited about leading the development of an Epilepsy Center in conjunction with Wyoming Medical Center here in the center of Wyoming. Dr. Wheeler is looking forward to providing quality neurological and epilepsy care to the people of Wyoming.
He and his family are happy to be back a little closer to home.
